About BackFreeOffice

BackFreeOffice is a practical ergonomics resource hub for people who spend long hours working at a desk.

The goal is simple: to help desk workers create more comfortable workspaces through clear setup guides, realistic product recommendations and small adjustments that are easy to apply.

My Story

I have spent more than 11 years working at a desk and like many desk workers, I gradually became familiar with the stiffness and discomfort that can develop after sitting and working at a computer for hours. For a long time, I treated it as an unavoidable part of desk work.

That experience led me to learn more about workplace ergonomics and experiment with changes to my own setup. Over time, I adjusted my chair, monitor, keyboard and mouse placement and became more deliberate about taking movement breaks.

I have also personally used different lumbar-support pillows, ergonomic mice, keyboards and office chairs. Some products made a noticeable difference to my comfort, while others were disappointing or did not justify their price.

BackFreeOffice was created to share what I have learned and help other desk workers avoid wasting time and money.
